About Steady Coding
Steady Coding AB is a Swedish software company. We work as consultants for companies building on .NET, and we develop our own software products.
How we work
The name says what we care about. Good software is rarely the result of heroic pushes. It comes from a steady pace: small, tested changes, delivered often, on infrastructure that behaves the same way every time.
That is how we approach client work. We write clear code, automate the build and the deployment, keep infrastructure in code, and leave systems documented well enough that the next developer can carry on.
AI coding agents fit that rhythm well. We work with Claude Code and Codex every day, and let them take on the routine: dependency updates, test coverage, documentation. People decide what gets built and review everything that ships.
We also use the same practices on our own products, such as Tomato Sessions, which we build, run and support ourselves.

Jim Aho is the founder and owner of Steady Coding. He is a software developer and software architect working mainly with .NET, C#, Azure and AWS, Kubernetes-based platforms, and AI coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex.
